Rick began his writing career during the golden era at MTM, the home of such shows as Mary Tyler Moore and others. His work to date includes more than 75 movie and and television scripts.

Rick's big film break came with his writing of the script for the film Nothing In Common, starring Tom Hanks and Jackie Gleason. His most recent film, CBS Movie “Gleason”, starred Brad Garrett and garnered an Emmy nomination.

The story depicts the efforts of the two brothers to blend their clashing lifestyles.
